The Software Continuity methodology has been validated by leading French ISVs. It assesses the level of maintainability of any software.

The Software Continuity methodology uses 250 indicators split in two domains:
pixel technical indicators analyzing the technology underlying the software
pixel industrial indicators analyzing the effectiveness of applied processes

This diagnosis provides a dashboard summarizing all the measured indicators and a set of recommendations.

Software Continuity portal gives access to various diagnoses performed over time on your software:
pixel raw scores for each diagnosis
pixel comparison between several diagnoses of the same software
pixel comparison of your software with other softwares of the same type

Mission
Autodiagnosis:

Software Continuity provides access to the power of its methodology through its portal on a subset of aggregated indicators (40).

Mission
Audit:

The audit is conducted on the ISVs premisses collecting information (interviews, document analysis, ) and using specific tools (source code analysis, business process modeling , etc..).

This data collection and analysis is done by Software Continuity certified experts. After diagnosis, a report and dashboards are delivered to ISVs based on all indicators (250).

They identify strengths and weaknesses and propose a list of recommendations. All the results are presented and reviewed at the ISVs.

Mission
Software Continuity Certification:
pixem

ISVs meeting Software Continuity standards (recommendation plan) can ask for certification. Certification requires periodic review of indicator values and attaining minimum standards.

These dashboards help ISVs to improve management of R&D, customer satisfaction and maintenance.

The multi-year monitoring of these dashboards provides a way to detect early signs of failure and to respond proactively.
